Puerto del Rosario's council is pursuing one of its largest public-investment programmes in years after the ordinary plenary on Monday 29 June approved an €8,976,234.18 carry-over of surpluses to fund new work on infrastructure, public spaces, facilities and municipal services.
The sum adds to the Multi-Year Investment Plan, approved in May with €9,529,660.32, bringing total investment above €18.5 million. Planned actions include drafting new projects, digitising archives, renewing public lighting, school improvements, a new resurfacing plan, fibre optics, the Ampuyenta youth activity centre and a façade plan for tourism. The multi-year plan also covers a full overhaul of the Charco district and works in Las Granadas.
