Playa de Los Pozos hosted on Wednesday the official launch of the third edition of Puerto Joven, an initiative by Puerto del Rosario's council with the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, which on 8, 9 and 10 July will turn the beach into the municipality's main meeting point for young people.
Over three days, visitors can enjoy a free programme combining sport, leisure, music, creativity, new technologies and water activities. Highlights include beach sports, water inflatables, workshops and a gaming zone, this year's novelty promoted by the Cabildo's New Technologies department. The music line-up backs local talent with Majorero artist ELEDER, before the closing Brytiago concert.

“Puerto Joven is now an established event. We want to keep promoting leisure, sporting and cultural activities for our young people, creating spaces where they can enjoy themselves and take part,” said Mayor David de Vera.
