Fuerteventura in 5 days
Days 1-2 — North and Lobos
Base in Corralejo: dunes, Grandes Playas, a trip to Lobos and sunset at El Cotillo with its turquoise lagoons. Half a day of surfing or windsurfing.
Day 3 — Inland and Betancuria
The scenic FV-30: Betancuria, Vega de Río Palmas and the viewpoints. A short hike on Calderón Hondo or Mount Tindaya.
Day 4 — Wild west: Ajuy and Cofete
The caves and black sand of Ajuy, then an epic day out to Cofete. You'll need a suitable car and care on the dirt track.
Day 5 — South and Jandía
Morro Jable, the Jandía lighthouse and the wide Sotavento flats. Splitting between a northern and southern base cuts transfers: the island is ~100 km long and inland roads are slow.
