In a short time local people who love its environment and sea saw how quickly the Government of Spain sold its present and future environment to an oil company, and with this commercial sale everything was suddenly put at risk. Its whole world is now unstable and insecure... Society protested and manifested, but the Government of Spain did not care, it despised the opinion of its insular institutions and a united society was rejected. This society believed to be living in full democracy, but was unable to exert its will by some external laws that prevented it from deciding about the present and the future of its land."
